I have finally taken a holiday!!

So, I think I was the only person not to have a holiday this year so decided that I would head off to Liverpool for the week! Was up nice and early to get ready for my flight this morning, left the house in loads of time, only to be stuck on the M1 for just 20mins due to the on going roadworks!

Made it to the security gate thinking that I wasn't gonna make it but reckoned I would chance it anyway.... And of course, I managed to miss my flight by literally minutes! Feckin road works!!!!

So, just after having brekkie and am currently hanging around the airport like a bit of a stray for the next flight, which has cost me €232..... And that is ONE WAY! Ouch!!!!! And to make it even worse, I just checked online and discovered that I could have flown in the morning for only €100!

And then to top it all off, I missed my flight coming back. Well, its not that I missed it, but they had decided to close check in earlier than was printed on my ticket, which meant that I couldn't check my bag in and it was too large to take on as hand luggage!! I'm such a nightmare when travelling!!
An expensive lesson for me to learn but it will teach me to leave my house that little bit earlier in future!!

FM104's Christmas Party!!!

So, we had our christmas party last Saturday and I have to say that it's the best I have been to so far!! From christmas bus fm to locking Benjy in the loo, my cheeks were so sore from the laughter! We headed off to the Radisson SAS in Galway and despite the horrible rain, had a ball! Paddy and Deano turned up as the Blue's Brothers!! Good thinking lads and we had shots through a fantastic ice sculpture!

After we had filled our faces, we got on our merry way to Karma, where we were greated by a bucking bronco ride! Yes, I did say bucking bronco bull ride! Ya can imagine the fun that was had!!

Photographer offers divorce albums!!

Divorcing couples in Italy are flocking to a photographer who's offering to shoot a wedding-style album of their split.

Gianni Fasolini, from Valeggio sul Mincio, had the brainwave after reading that the divorce rate was going through the roof.

"People celebrate a marriage as a milestone in their lives, but a divorce is an important event too," he explained.

The 45-year-old added: "I have been doing photos of weddings and marriage ceremonies for years, day in and day out, and people told me they like having a photo marking important events in their lives.

"Then I got to thinking that maybe there would be some demand for people marking their divorces and so I started to offer photo sessions for freshly divorced couples - them smiling or shaking hands or in some cases even kissing.

"I advertised the offer and as soon as people found out about it they were queuing up at my shop for sessions."
